What We Do

Founded in 2012 to support remote areas in Papua New Guinea with discipleship training and care, Beyond Baptism works across the globe on a wide range of projects. Whether it's teaching Bible and leadership courses, alleviating starvation in remote areas, or aiding nascent Bible colleges, we exist to encourage Christians across the globe in discipleship and obedience to everything Christ has commanded.

Beyond Baptism is currently working to provide Internet connectivity to Faith Bible College in Tiap Village in remote Papua New Guinea. This project should be completed in January 2025, and we then hope to begin work on other projects including improving recorded audio Scripture access for other remote villages, supporting national missionaries as they spread the Gospel to other villages, and installing an in-field recording studio to allow for recording of God's Word in even more languages. The possibilities are endless as we dream of different ways to make God’s word accessible to the least reached people of the world!

Who We Are

Beyond Baptism is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization which exists to disciple Christians to obey all that Christ commanded as stated in the second part of the Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. It was originally founded by Bobby and Sue Ellen Wrenn in 2012 to support remote areas in Papua New Guinea with discipleship training and care. Due to illness and the inability to continue traveling to PNG, the Wrenns passed the leadership of Beyond Baptism to Jim and Joni Bliffen in 2022.
